Vietnamese Pho Pizza

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Total time: 30 minutes

Servings: 1 pizza

This is one of those pizzas that you bite into and are like woah... this tastes exactly like what it's supposed to. We've repurposed our Asian Pulled Pork recipe to bring you a slice of pizza that tastes exactly like a bowl of Vietnamese Pho. So make some of that in advance or use some of the substitute suggestions below.

Pros: tastes like heaven

Cons: prep the pork in advance

Ingredients:

  • Our Asian Pulled Pork (or protein of your choice)

  • Hoisin sauce (if not using the recipe above)

  • Thinly sliced red onion

  • Thinly sliced jalapeños

  • Chopped cilantro

  • Rice vinegar (optional)

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Lime

  1. Prep your red onions with the optional step of slightly pickling them in a 50/50 brine of rice vinegar and water. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Preheat the oven to the temperature your pizza dough requires. We used a pre-made dough and set our oven to 450.

  3. Lay out your dough and spread an even layer of our Asian Pulled Pork's sauce. If you're not using this, substitute for some hoisin sauce.

  4. Top with shredded pork (or your choice of protein), parmesan cheese, and red onion.

  5. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until pizza dough is crispy and cheese is melted.

  6. Top with fresh jalapeños, cilantro, and more red onion if you want. Squeeze a little lime on top and enjoy!
