Seafood Pull Apart Bread

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Total time: 35 minutes

Servings: 6-8

Let me tell you... this loaf of bread is amazing. It's warm, seafood tasting, crispy, and slightly decadent. Just when you think one slice is enough, you need another one. The best part is it's relatively easy to make and looks really pretty on the table. You can change up the flavors by adding different spices or fillings.

Pros: easy and customizable

Cons: stuffing bread takes patience

Ingredients:

  • Large loaf of bread

  • 6-7 oz imitation crab, roughly chopped

  • 4 oz softened cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup mozzarella

  • 1/4 cup ricotta

  • 1 stalk of celery chopped finely

  • 2 stalks of scallion, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic

  • Olive oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cut your bread with a sharp bread knife. I preferred diagonal cuts in opposite directions to make diamond shapes. Do NOT cut all the way through the bread.

  3. In a bowl, mix all the other ingredients together except for the olive oil.

  4. Using a butter knife or small spoon, scoop and stuff the mixture between all the bread cuts. Make sure to really get in there!

  5. Brush olive oil over the top of your loaf and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy. Enjoy warm!
