I stand by galettes as a lazy cook's go to appetizer. You can literally throw anything into a galette and it'll taste good and look beautiful. This combo is an easy one to fall in love with. Use a pre made dough like me or make your own!
Pros: easy peasy
Cons: none
Ingredients:
1 pie dough
6 oz of blackberries
4 oz of brie
Sprig of rosemary
1 egg
Honey
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Roll out your pie dough on parchment paper or an oiled baking pan and prick the middle all around with a fork.
Fill it with sliced brie and blackberries. It'll be best to evenly layer the ingredients in the middle. Leave about 2 inches of pie crust all around.
Sprinkle a bit of rosemary on top.
Fold the pie dough edges up and onto the brie/blackberry to form a crust.
Mix your egg and brush it over the edges of the dough.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Drizzle with honey and enjoy warm!
