Blackberry Brie Galette

I stand by galettes as a lazy cook's go to appetizer. You can literally throw anything into a galette and it'll taste good and look beautiful. This combo is an easy one to fall in love with. Use a pre made dough like me or make your own!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie dough

  • 6 oz of blackberries

  • 4 oz of brie

  • Sprig of rosemary

  • 1 egg

  • Honey

 
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Roll out your pie dough on parchment paper or an oiled baking pan and prick the middle all around with a fork.

  3. Fill it with sliced brie and blackberries. It'll be best to evenly layer the ingredients in the middle. Leave about 2 inches of pie crust all around.

  4. Sprinkle a bit of rosemary on top.

  5. Fold the pie dough edges up and onto the brie/blackberry to form a crust.

  6. Mix your egg and brush it over the edges of the dough.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Drizzle with honey and enjoy warm!
