Restaurant Style Salsa

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 0 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

Servings: a lot

Restaurant style salsa is my favorite. Probably because more good food is always on the way when you're eating it but it's actually very easy to make at home. All you need is a blender and your choice of ingredients. I like to mix canned and fresh ones to get the perfect salsa. Customize it however you want and serve it up!

Pros: easy and versatile

Cons: adding too much onion like me

Ingredients:

  • 28 oz of canned tomatoes

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 small red onion

  • 2 jalapeños (deseeded)

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 1 bunch of cilantro

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (or more)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder or cumin

  • Juice of 1 lime

  1. In a blender, combine everything... and blend to your desired level of salsa puree! Taste and adjust for salt.

  2. Serve immediately or store in the fridge!
